Bioshock 2 Special Edition Announced
The 2009 trend of $100-plus special editions continues into next year with Bioshock 2. Announced this morning at a $99.99 MSRP on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ($89.99 for Games for Windows Live), the collector's edition of Bioshock 2 is planned for a simultaneous release alongside the regular version on February 9, 2010.
So what's in the box to justify the premium price tag? In addition to the game itself, owners of the special edition will get the requisite soundtrack CD and art book, plus a vinyl LP of the original Bioshock's orchestral score, and three very stylish Rapture propaganda posters.
